
TAVENGWA RUNYOWA
Tavengwa Runyowa is a Regina, Saskatchewan-based lawyer and the principal of Runyowa Law. Tavengwa was born and raised in Zimbabwe. In 1997, he won a scholarship to the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales where he completed the International Baccalaureate program. On graduating from Atlantic College, Tavengwa won a scholarship to Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia.
Tavengwa enrolled in law school at the University of Ottawa and graduated with a juris doctor (J.D.) in 2010. While in law school, Tavengwa won awards for his performance in the mooting program. He also spent a year at the university Legal Clinic and was a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Property Law course.
After law school, Tavengwa completed his articles between the World Trade Organization in Switzerland, and the International Criminal Court in The Netherlands. While at both organizations, Tavengwa was enrolled in the University of London’s Master of Laws (LL.M) program. He graduated with merit, specializing in International and Comparative Competition Law.
On returning to Canada, Tavengwa moved to Regina with his wife. Tavengwa’s practice focuses on civil litigation.
